Sometime ago I was invited to take part in a fundraising event. This was specifically to help raise funds for a family who were victims of a drunk driver. Their daughter had been killed and the ‘bread-winner’ (Father) of the family had been so severely injured, he would never be able to work again. When I looked into the eyes of the mother I saw a woman who was totally devastated and clearly, utterly exhausted from this horrific ordeal. She was the one now who was to pick up the pieces and take over from where the father had left off. These are the words that came through me for her.
