"With a Heart that is Open" Captured by Harry Blum

When a person experiences repeated rejection in their life, they often make a decision to shut down their feelings and close their heart in order to protect it from any further pain. Eventually, however, this formula can backfire and cause the person multiple maladies that appear to be unrelated. For me, I have found that the risks are well worth taking as they afford me the opportunity to take responsibility for my personal joy.

Who would not want to feel joy?
