Before you rush out the door, perhaps running a little late for an appointment, stop, get to a mirror, take a deep breath and look into your own eyes and tell yourself, “I promise to treat you well today. I will pay attention to my breathing; I will focus on what is important; I will give you exercise; I will nurture this body by eating nutritionally; I will stop and smell the roses: I will reach out and touch another being; I will pay attention and listen carefully to my intuition; I will be in integrity in all my thoughts, words and actions; I will be in a place of gratitude; and I will love myself unconditionally; I will keep this promise. O.K. I’ve got this!
No matter what is going on in my life, if it ever feels less than good, I know that I have slipped out of my love vibration. It is time to turn the dial to the love frequency and tune in for a huge dose of love.
The way I bring this about is simple. I think of all those people, places and things that I love. I give gratitude for all the love I feel for those people, places and things. I remain focused on these feelings of gratitude and love that I feel and within moments I feel relieved of any heavy feeling that I may have been carrying.
This exercise for me is the most freeing and powerful of all. I highly recommend it. If you are reading this and resonating with it simply send love. Oooooodles of love – Mahri
Let me see – which feels better? “I want to be inspired.” Or, “Thank you for all my inspiration!” There are some languages where is there is no word for “want”. The Moken people, “Sea Gypsy” hunter-gatherer tribe, living on islands on Andaman Sea off Thailand, do not have “want” in their language. These people live very simply and always give thanks for what they have.
This is the best way for me to be in my life. Constant thanksgiving is appropriate for me. And the great news is Harry has gratitude down to a tea. We are so well suited in this. We know that by giving thanks in advance for all that we need brings, whatever we choose, sometimes faster that we can truly imagine.
Today, I am going to pay attention to the times I may say, “I want ……” I really believe at this time I have this handled. However, I want…..Woops! I am grateful for all the abundance flowing to me now. It is a glorious day and I thank God for being inspired. Yep! I’ve got this lesson.
