In this world, where we are being screamed at to make this choice or that choice, it is imperative that we quiet our minds and go inside and listen to our intuition. It is time to take responsibility for our own choices and to trust the feedback we are given, moment by moment, within our own bodies. Taking the initiative and allowing our, God given, senses, means that we will get to feel the results of our decision making in an accountable way. Feeling educated and informed, on those things we are curious about, goes a long way too, however, be sure to trust your intuition before you take the plunge. And give choice a voice.
It is most important to listen carefully to your inner being and pay attention to the feelings that are going on in your body. These are the intuitive experiences that we all are blessed with. I am clear that we all make huge decisions in our lives that utterly change the course of our lives. The most powerful part, in that decision-making process, is those intuitive feelings that show up, perhaps, as knots (discomfort) or butterflies (excitement). As we begin to understand, that choice is our most precious gift, we will be more discerning and listening to and being aware of those signs within our bodies that tell us right from wrong. The reason I am posting this will be made evident in an upcoming post.
Sometimes the most painful things in our lives come from the dishonesty or the unwillingness to take responsibility for the way that we feel. If we could only check in on our hearts and speak the truth in the beginning and say what is truly on our minds, we could by-pass so much of the pain. There is no shame in feeling sad. There is always a perfect gift in that sadness. The sadness is there to remind us of our human frailties. The sadness is there to bring us a gift in acceptance of all of our ways of being. What have we been avoiding? The secrets and those gifts lay within each one of us just waiting for acceptance and a pro-active step. We need to be good to ourselves, lighten up and allow room for all those feelings to flow. This is the honesty our beings need to be fulfilled. Being authentic to our inner spirit and to our souls help to release the joy within each one of us. Life is supposed to be fun and if we’ re not having fun it is our own fault. There is no one to blame for my not having fun but me! I’ve got this!
Why am I doing this? Why am I feeling that? Why am I experiencing this? Why am I holding onto this belief? Why? Why? Why? So often the choices I am making in my day are those of an automatic nature. I brush my teeth. I comb my hair. I put my clothes on. I pray. What if I became conscious? Conscious of everything I am doing? How would I behave differently?
Let me slow down and experience life as it is meant to be. I’ll begin by being deliberate in my breathing. I feel the difference already. Now I feel an energy coursing through my being; a feeling of being alive, such as I have never felt before. Now, I understand what it feels like to be present. Now I experience the gift of conscious choice. I’ve got this.
What does love feel like? Can you describe it? Is it that feeling that just makes you want to smile and hug and listen and give gratitude for everything good in your life? Is it that warm cozy feeling of assurance that makes you want to risk being different? You have the answer. Now, be the love you choose to see and watch it flourish! Picture a world where people take time to know what love feels like. Wow! I’ve got this. I love you!
