Sometimes the most painful things in our lives come from the dishonesty or the unwillingness to take responsibility for the way that we feel. If we could only check in on our hearts and speak the truth in the beginning and say what is truly on our minds, we could by-pass so much of the pain. There is no shame in feeling sad. There is always a perfect gift in that sadness. The sadness is there to remind us of our human frailties. The sadness is there to bring us a gift in acceptance of all of our ways of being. What have we been avoiding? The secrets and those gifts lay within each one of us just waiting for acceptance and a pro-active step. We need to be good to ourselves, lighten up and allow room for all those feelings to flow. This is the honesty our beings need to be fulfilled. Being authentic to our inner spirit and to our souls help to release the joy within each one of us. Life is supposed to be fun and if we’ re not having fun it is our own fault. There is no one to blame for my not having fun but me! I’ve got this!
Today I am so grateful to report that my friend Darlene is out of hospital and home waiting the arrival of her sister who is coming from Florida to spend time with her. Thank you and all of our magnificent Angels for responding in this special way.
I have so much to be grateful for and I want to give a huge thanks to the Emergency (911) team that took such great care of my friend. Just as an aside if you ever feel scared or concerned, about what is happening to you and you are dizzy and alone, dial 911. Then call a friend and have then meet you at the hospital. Allow the professionals to take care of you and never forget all those Angels around you.
Today I call on my Angels to watch over a dear friend who is in hospital. Her name is Darlene and she herself has been a special Angel to many people and now it is time to pay it forward. When I think about all those special Angels who have been there for me, in times of hardship, this is a no-brainer! We are all responsible for our lives going forward and now, more than any other time in my life I recognize precisely what paying it forward means. This is simply a time for Darlene to lay back and be pampered just like she has pampered others all of her life. Thank you Angels – now go for it!
There are times our thoughts can choke our beings, create fear and hamper our forward path. There are times when things show up in life that are reminders of the only past that we carry awareness of. Those reminders may be painful and then it is time for true discernment and recognition that that was then and this is now. Breathing deeply and taking time to understand we do have a choice in how we use these thoughts. We may never totally erase our past, however we can choose to examine the need to be attached to the painful stories of our past. Living in the now and focusing on the joy that is ours now can go a long way to healing a past that no longer serves us well. When our past rears its ugly head, in the way of an ill serving thought, we owe it to ourselves to stop, breathe and recognize the power here in the now. Then we can be discerning and choose a new thought. It may seem like work and it is worth every moment to help create that freedom that we all can enjoy, one moment at a time. I’ve got this.
Outside of our sense of logic it is of hard for us, here on this earthly journey, to wrap our hearts around the bigger picture. Often we focus so intently on the intensity of the situation we miss those signs that are all around us. We get caught up in the right and wrong of things and the true solutions are overlooked. The bottom line is that until we take responsibility for our thoughts, words and actions we will continue to see all the destruction.
There is only one antidote for pain and that is unconditional love. Did I say this before? Well, here it comes again. We must learn to love without condition. Then, and only then, will the need for weapons be diminished and eventually fade out.
We are One in this world and that is our responsibility. Overwhelming, as it may feel, it is none-the-less the only way to freedom. This concept to many may feel difficult to say the least. I assure you unconditional love is the only way we will ever experience peace. I’ve got this.
