“A CHALLENGE IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE PERFECTION.” You heard it here! The upshot of this is by celebrating challenge you will bring about a solution in the form of a miracle.
Balance is that fine-tuning in our life that makes us who we are. Balance is our inner Ministry that we are responsible for conducting. It is our peace, love and joy monitor. Do we talk too much? Do we eat too much? Do we fear too much? Do we need too much? Do we work too much? Needless to say I could go on at a tangent with all these questions. The point is, if we have these questions unanswered, then we are possibly out of balance. How is your energy level? I am talking about your personal energy – do you feel worn out for no apparent reason? It could simply be that the content of our daily conversation is that of a negative kind which depletes our energy at the very source.
It is time to take stock of your energy and begin to become more aware of your conversation and how it can quickly evaporate that positive flow of energy that keeps us going and able to proceed through our life. This is simply the very tip of the iceberg of the work that needs to be done to re-stock our energy quota. Think of all the many areas of your life that you live through each day; getting up, nourishing your body, traveling to work, finding that parking spot, interaction with co-workers and the list is endless. Each one of these items requires personal energy and if we are in a place of, let’s say, judgment, then the chances are we will find each incident, rapidly depleting our energy. Balance is the absolute key to joyful, peaceful living on a day-to-day basis and this is what my coaching is all about.
Balancing the “Ball” we call “life” can be the most overwhelming procedure that we ever undertake. But without balance in our lives we merely exist and who wants to merely exist?
When someone asks you, “How is your life?” how often do you say, “I am having a ball!” Well here is the deal – you can be making that a part of your every day conversation. It will take some dedication on your part to create this and who wouldn’t like to have their life be a “ball”?
It is my belief that life is supposed to be fun and we are supposed to have a “ball” even at those times that are stressful. When faced with a challenge we simply need to remember one thing. This is my prescription for bringing a solution to any challenge. Write this on sticky notes and place them all over your home and car and office.
Bring balance into your life by ridding yourself of the “got to does” and replace them with the “get to does”.
Love is a word that is described in Webster’s New World Dictionary as; “a strong affection for or devotion to…” Love is a powerful energy that can unite two people or even bring many people together in a feeling of harmony. Webster also gives the meaning of; “the feeling of benevolence and brotherhood that people should have for each other.”
When we experience the feeling of being, loving, be it toward our career or toward family, friends and even co-workers, we might experience a feeling of warmth and satisfaction that is often difficult to articulate. There are those who have difficulty in understanding what they are experiencing.
There are many situations that help garner that feeling of love. When we recognize what our individual needs are in order to experience that feeling, then we have identified all the tools necessary to bring love about. This is the ultimate feeling that assists in bringing balance to our life.
When we can look into the mirror and say, “I love you and I love everything that you represent”, As we come eye to eye with our reflection, then we have mastered a powerful connection to who we are.
For many people, this experience, of “being in love” not only with who they are but what they represent, is the “icing on the cake”. It means that they have slain the dragon of “low self- esteem” that may have been plaguing them for most of their life and holding them back from all the good that they truly deserve.
This is an area of coaching that can be the most powerful of all. It addresses balance, stress, integrity and life purpose.
Stress is greatest inhibitor, in achieving success and optimum health. Each day of our lives we face situations that can feel stressful. More and more we are called upon to take on additional responsibility. Often we feel that we have no choice. We create additional stress by taking on others opinion of us. Unexpected career termination, loss of income, bills mounting, no apparent relief in sight all culminating in stress.
Many positive situations also result in stress. Getting married, career change, moving home and travelling often cause people stress. Our belief systems are the guiding factor in the amount of stress that we endure.
When balance is introduced to an otherwise chaotic life the reduction in stress is an obvious result. This is the most significant remedy toward reducing stress. When we partner together in coaching we work toward discovering all the components in creating a stress-free life.
