Just Be You

“The Energy Discipline”
“Just Be You!”

Being authentic is so important in having a stress-free life. The moment we step out of our authenticity we lose our trust in ourselves, thus we undermine our potential for success.
So often we are vulnerable to others opinions of us and therefore we alter our true being to suit their needs. This is one more way that we give away our personal power and dilute our true potential.
When we feel that we need to jeopardize our integrity, by altering our way of being in any way, we have simply sold our soul. The more we do this – the further and further away we get from our authentic self. Very soon we have lost sight of who we truly are.
When we lose our identity we are no longer in charge of our destiny. We spend much of the time blaming others for our misfortune and unreached goals that our lives become convoluted.
Our energy becomes depleted and we begin to lose sight of our dreams and find ourselves making excuses for all the chaos that is showing up in our lives. Do we want a life like this?
Just being you can, to some people, be overwhelming. People are so often wired to changing themselves around to suit whatever situation they may find themselves in. The need to be accepted is often the most formidable obstacle in the way.
When we are o.k. in our own skin none of these things become a consideration. Begin by being good to yourself and taking time to treat yourself and ask yourself some probing questions regarding all that you believe in; be aware of how you are feeling at all times and be totally honest with yourself.
The key is in trusting your own judgments, actions and personality traits in any given situation. Believing in yourself and maintaining your integrity is tantamount to being the most powerful attribute to just being you.
