Just when I think that Universe is letting me down I stop, take a deep breath and look for the perfection in what is going on. Granted, it may not be readily apparent, however, I know this; there is always perfection in all that life brings to me. I am learning to seek those hidden gifts. They are always there. I’ve got this!
So often we take our relationships in life for-granted. Not only our primary relationships but all of the other relationships in our life too. When was the last time you took stock of all your friends and relations and your connection to them? You know I am clear that, for many of you that answer may be never! How are you being in communication with your world? Are you in total integrity about how you feel towards all of these living, loving, vibrant, human beings? Or – are you so wrapped up in your world with all of your needs and wants that you simply have not given the subject a whole lot of thought? With these thoughts in my mind I began to hear the words of this next poem that I have now written and choose to share with you now.
And It’s Free
In the total “mundaneness” of living we tend to forget what’s most important in life
We rush about madly immersed in our stuff forgetting what it takes to be husband or wife
Just like a tender flower needs nurturing the relationships we encounter through living
Need constant care in form of love and in remembering what we’re getting we are giving
So often we lose our way and need to center our being
Our breathing in takes on a shallow form that feels numb
We’re no longer living life as we know it should be
And we ‘re fearful of what is to come
All this fear that we feel is restricting – it hampers each step that we’re taking
Even the way we respond to each other are the results of the choices we’re making
The moment our beings feel love for another we must be conscious of just how it feels
How is it that we are being right now as our heart sheds each one of its peels
Each peel that we shed’s a restricting belief we’ve taken on in a moment of doubt
We have felt the need to protect our heart though not aware what that belief was about
The most powerful gifts that God gave us are those gifts that are inside our soul
At the moment that we recognize them we quickly begin to feel whole
There’s one thing we must always remember the love we give is never ending
There’s no bottom or top to this emotion it’s in everything that we are sending
Love changes face as life evolves – important to know as we go through each day
We have the power to re-kindle that passion even though it might mean that we must step away
Often the fear of losing someone takes away our strength to test chance
We are so absorbed with the what if’s of life we feel we’re unable to dance
When two people love one another there’s a knowing of what’s right and what’s wrong
We feel it in every part of our being there’s no doubt about where we belong
We must honor those feelings deep in our soul be aware of when our love we withold
Being willing to shift in our justification of this has more value than oceans of gold
We can always find reasons to withhold our love of this I am perfectly clear
The most valuable gift we can give to ourselves is the one that eradicates fear
So what is this gift I am speaking of here? By now you should clearly see
The love that our being’s made up of is flowing through life and it’s free

Yes! it is time to communicate that love you are feeling – it is time to peel away those hampering beliefs – become aware of why you are withholding your love – reach out and communicate right now. There is no time to waste - get on with it and take years off of your life. Feel young again and know what you know now. Till next time – Cheerio!
Why is it that I question the me I’ve come to know? Why is it that I doubt myself at all? Why, when I know better, do I question what’s my role? Then I turn my back on all the gifts that permeate my soul.
It’s so easy to erase what’s true by thinking I’m not right; that the scarcity I’m focused on is all I have in sight. I know, deep down inside me, that all I choose to see is right within my reach – should I choose to set it free.
Why should it take an earthquake to cause the world to share? When the truth is all wealth’s for everyone. We are all God’s loving family – sharing the same sun. No-one should be hungry; no-one should feel cold; no-one should ever worry about getting very old.
This world belongs to all of us. This is plain for me to see. We are here to help each other and to live eternally. We are here to share the gifts we have – never questioning the source – always full of clear intention – keeping us on course.
Whatever we intend will happen – when we’re clear on that intent. All we do is hold the dream and know that it is meant.
